I’m Michael Eckett

I’m a London based writer and performer working in comics, theatre and podcasting.

I’m currently writing comics including creating Forged with Ryan Jenkyns and David B Cooper

As artistic director of theatre company The Sigil Club, I wrote, directed and produced six productions in five years. We performed as part of the Camden Fringe and Greater Manchester Fringe Festivals and have sold out The Roundhouse Studio Theatre, The Etcetera Theatre and the Hen & Chickens Theatre.

I’m one quarter of the Comic Book Classroom podcast team pie serving as co-writer, performer and sometimes lyricist. Before that I was one of the hosts of The Orbiting Pod; the comic book criticism podcast from Eisner Award winning Orbital Comics.
